Crown me #1

Hey Everyone,

I recently entered a National Contest concerning St. Augustine’s 450th Anniversary that is coming up.  For those of you that don’t know St. Augustine is considered the oldest City in USA.  I made the top 5 in the photo category and the winner will be decided by an online vote.  So if you can spare a little time and vote for me using the link below I’d very much appreciate it!

My photo is titled “We be Lions Among Men” and is of the St. Augustine Bridge Lions that are well known landmarks in the area.  I selected them as my subject because the Lions are a symbol of the Spanish royal family, representing St. Augustine’s past as a Spanish colony.

Thanks for all your Support!

Berly and I made use of the root overhangs into the bay at first Landing State Park.  Finally got to look and edit them and this is what we came up with.  Sorry Berly for not posting these sooner.

I finially got a chance to really play with my 50mm lens at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve.  My mom and dad do butterfly monitoring once a month so i tagged along.  I think i got some very good results.
